Retro Review: MEMOIRS OF AN INVISIBLE MAN (1992) directed by John Carpenter! Yes, that John Carpenter.
It's the movie that nearly ended John Carpenter's career!
Come back with us to 1992, as we discuss Memoirs of an Invisible Man, the monster movie flop that starred one of Hollywood's most legendary jerks, Chevy Chase.
Join us as we delve into the film and try to decide which SNL character is a dead ringer for Chevy in this movie. We also discover this film's strange connection to Halloween III: Season of the Witch, as well as some behind-the-scenes drama involving its stars.
Oh, and Matt won't shut the hell up about the classic Universal Monsters! It's good to be back to normal. (Sorry, Billy Zane!)
If you want to get right to the main review, you can scrub ahead to 8:18. But if you do that, you’ll miss a fun little stroll down memory lane as Matt recounts an embarrassing lunch story involving Chinese food, two fat guys, and one very tiny table.
