In 1989 a young mother frantically rushes her baby boy to hospital. The baby is severely ill, and hospital tests suggest he has been poisoned. Although the baby recovers, his mother instantly falls under suspicion, and when the baby suffers from the same symptoms of poisoning just weeks later she is arrested.
