Episode 95: Janky

Episode 95: Janky
The internet's most fiery 13 minute new music podcast returns with our first sure to make the best of year list, Vaodou Game's new record FINTOU. Their previous efforts are over the top funky and partyistic, pumped beyond belief but this one has slowed down the tempo, added some accordion and guest singers and I think it's a certified bag of bangers as there's more depth to what they're doing here. Plenty of funk is still on offer after these changes, check it out.Not to say that the other tracks on this aren't bangers -- more African music, some crushing metal from Ice T's Body Count and a lyrical and strange performance from Cameron Winter. As usual The Magic Organ is about the quality not the genre, creativity over lifestyle every time.Excerpts from this episode:Vaodou Game: RalerBody Count: Do or DieShovel Dance Collective: The Merry Golden TreeBoldy James & RichGains: JankyCameron Winter: The Rolling StonesSonghoy Blues: DagabiPavel Milyakov: air XFeel free to follow me on the Insta where I conversate as themagic_organ.
