What is in our nature that makes us love naturally?
If you have a child, they are naturally loving. Not always accepting or tolerating.
But always loving.
And then as we age, we lost that natural love of the world and life.
Why?
Recently I found a beautiful youtube channel where kids in trauma used music and dance to celebrate life and they now make an income from the channel to support their lives. You can see the Masaka Kids here: https://youtu.be/TH4V-yHbJXk
Watching their videos, I feel life and I am happy.
We have lost our connection to nature as a human species, and as a result, we have trauma, we have rising air pollution which is killing us, we have oceans filled with waste that kills other life and we are on a trajectory to the end of the human species because we have become the diseased peoples of the earth.
Today, I'm going to look at natural love and how to reconnect to love in the self as a natural gift, when we connect to nature, and forget about the ideas of what humanity is, and reconnect to our initial role as a species that honored all life, animal, plants, microbes, fungi, bacteria that are our ancestors and the ecosystems of the planet that allow our earth to breathe and the natural kingdom that allows life to be possible at all.
PS I've discovered this really cool Virologist Dr Zach Bush who shares how when we see the bigger picture of all life that allows us to exist on the earth - we can start to approach disease from an enlightened perspective.
Check out Dr Zach Bush out here on the "VIROME" - how viruses are part of our evolution as a mammal and not an enemy, and instead a call to start looking at how we are part of the ecosystem of all life on earth. https://youtu.be/TEb33U0hHxM
