I wrote the Body of Love in 2012 to introduce movement-based and self-connection exercises to help people feel love and acceptance in their bodies.

Now when there is more technology we are losing real connection in our bodies and becoming shaped by technology's impact on our bodies which is obvious from the increase in lack of attention, inability to focus, and general anxiety and sense of disconnectedness.
In this podcast, I share 4 things we need to contemplate to start a better relationship with our bodies in these times.
1. Learning how to feel inside the body to stop giving our attention to the external way of perceiving the body. And building the skills required to feel deeper inside our body as a solution to the excessive focus on how our society makes us think we should look and looking at the body through the screen images.
2. How we can't regulate and legislate appropriate ways to respect the body if we don't help people and children to feel internally in their body because this will simply be more of a mind control measure of the body, which doesn't encourage the ability to feel and flow with who we are and who we are becoming.
3. The power of touch as a way to reclaim your connection to your body and the feelings of love that allow you to feel connection. Touch offers a deep connection that is a supportive and nurturing gift of the body.
4. How saying that you "love yourself" is not enough to manage the deprivation of human contact and human connection and touch when we are dealing with isolation or disconnection from each other. And how can we build social contact that brings us back into our humanity.
The body is a gift - so let's learn what we can build through loving the gift of our body.
