Lachy Cameron is an Australian Ultra Runner and mental health advocate who transformed personal adversity into a powerful mission for change.
In 2024, he broke the Fastest Known Time (FKT) record for running from Brisbane to Sydney—completing the 925 km journey in just over 10 days. This monumental effort raised over $33,000 for the mental health charity Heart On My Sleeve.
Lachy's journey into running began in 2021 as part of his recovery from severe depression and a suicide attempt. What started with short runs and walks evolved into a life-saving discipline. Running became his therapy and a helped him form a new identity of self-belief and strength.
I hope you enjoy the first addition of my new segment 'The Warm Up' - a quickfire round of fun, running-themed and personal questions to help you get to know the guest a little better before we dive into their full episode.
Lachy's full episode will drop next week. It's a ripper, so stay tuned!
Giddy up!
