In today’s episode, I caught up with Matt Daniels, a running legend from Geelong, Victoria. Matt Daniels to many would be seen as superhuman, someone you could quickly label as “a natural runner” if you didn’t dive deep into his journey and understand the amount of work he has put into becoming the person he is today. Matt has achieved several enormous feats like running from Adelaide to Geelong, 55 marathons in 55 days, and 535 half marathons in 535 days. He has fundraised thousands of dollars for causes close to his heart, and shown others that anything is possible with a strong enough WHY. What I find most inspiring, is he has done these things whilst working full-time, and supporting his family of 5 children. He shows others that while life is busy, we can all get outside and be more active to be healthier and happier. Matt has been a great mentor for me and many others in the running space. It was a pleasure to host Matty on the podcast and we hope you enjoy it.
