Poetry and spoken word by young people, for young people. What do you get up to during your lunch break at school? For the past two years, a group of talented students at Longhill High School in Brighton have been writing poetry and spoken word at a lunchtime club. Here's a sneak peek into some of the words they've crafted and why they choose to be part of Young Writers Collective.
Discover toy stories and so many different ways to play. Listen to people aged 7 to 77 sharing tales of favourite games. Children from Little Green Pig's writing clubs in Brighton designed their own unique board game, called 'The Intergeneration Game', and invited older people to play it. Hear the answers to the question cards and playful challenges that the children created. Plus hear stories and poems by young writers, inspired by the old toys they encountered.
Hosted by Kate and Amara, both aged 11. Featuring young writers from Little Green Pig's after school club that meets weekly to explore different forms of creative writing, led by professional writer Laura Wilkinson and story mentors.
Discover big imaginative ideas and tall tales, inspired by the theme of “miniature worlds”, written and performed by children from Little Green Pig’s writing clubs.
