
In this episode I discuss how my idea of perfectionism stood in my way in all things - particularly in terms of starting and sustaining weight loss.
Striving for perfection can be so damaging, leading us to all or nothing thinking, having unrealistic expectations, procrastination and ultimately burnout. In my case I realise now that I was unconsciously using it as a defense against being judged. Moving to a place of 'good enough' has been freeing and beneficial in so many ways.
