As a country, we have been celebrating Labor Day for well over 100 years. It’s a celebration of the people—the men and women who do the work. This coming Monday our episode features Miller Electric Company who has been a part of the men and women who do the work for almost 100 years. It feels like an appropriate episode to celebrate the holiday with. I sat down with Josh Nieves of Miller for this episode to have a real and honest conversation in the Jacksonville headquarters of the Miller Electric Company. We talked about his origins and journey from the heart of New York in Manhattan and Freedom Tower and all the way to Florida, where he now works with Miller. He’s investing in the people and carrying on their company culture and values. I think it’s important for us to remember to stand firm on what it is that we believe whether it’s about the values that a company represents, or whether it is your faith, or whether it is what you would call doing the right thing. It is important to believe and uphold. To believe means that you accept a statement to be true and you believe that something exists. Josh and I talk about what we believe, about Miller, and what we believe about life. I truly enjoyed this conversation. I encourage you to check it out this coming Monday on your Labor Day holiday. Happy Labor Day from me and Blackline LTD
