Hello and welcome to another episode of the Scholar Spotlight Sessions In these episodes we talk to past and present Florence Nightingale Foundation scholars and chat about why they wanted to be scholars and their leadership journey to date
In this episode we talk to Jemima Kempton
Jemima is a dual registered adult and mental health nurse who graduated from the University of Southampton in 2019.
Jemima is passionate about advocating for the parity of esteem between physical and mental health care, and strives to honour throughout her practice. She is currently in a lecturer-practitioner role which she has found to be monumental in building her confidence and finds it a privilege to practice in.
Jemima completed the Sandra Charitable Early Career Nurse and Midwife leadership course in 2021 and found it to be absolutely transformational. She has built a network of like minded peers on the course and attributes the course to giving her the confidence to dare to dream beyond her ‘years of qualification’.
