Hello and welcome to another episode of the Leadership Log where we talk about navigating everyday leadership.
In this episode we are chatting with Katharine Gale about Coaching in Leadership
Coaching helps leaders build emotional intelligence, with greater self-awareness, empathy, and self-control. Professional coaches provide observations and feedback about individual performance and assist leaders with developing strategies for personal improvement. Coaching also provides the outlet leaders need to motivate and inspire their team.
Katharine has nearly three decades of experience in the NHS as a senior nursing leader and nurse consultant in women's health. Katharine is the chair of the Royal College of Nursing Women’s Health Forum and she is currently funded to research the ‘Working Lives of Menopausal Women in the NHS’. Katharine works with women in healthcare leadership roles as a certified coach and trainer.
