Neville Johnson served with the 2nd Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, British Army. Born and raised in South Africa, he joined the British Army in the early 2000s deploying multiple times throughout his service, to include Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. He is a published poet and his piece on Sangin is featured in the episode intro.
