A spooky welcome to Episode 104 of The Last Standee Podcast!
This episode we explore curses, critters and cursed critters which also curse you! But let us get our curse-words (Inigo Montoya vibes here: you keep saying that word - I don't think it means what you think it means) sorted!
First, there's our Standee Catch-up with Cara and Alessio, then Alessio breaks ice with Eternal Decks, an excellent scenario-based coop card game by Hiroken seeing first reprint right these days, then Cara goes with Here to Slay, the Unstable Unicorns sequel that nods a bit to Munchkin (but also has some good things going its way). Finally, Alessio and Cara talk about King of Tokyo Duel, the last (next to last, now that Essen SPIEL has come and gone there's Mindbug King of Tokyo) iteration of the franchise, which brings some very welcome fresh air to the known and loved concept of the game.
And I think here we are: there are cards, combos, critters and curses - episode's done!
See you next episode!

102: Those Obnoxious Aliens (Mother of Dragons, Senjutsu, Sidereal Confluence)
Hello and welcome to Episode 102 of The Last Standee Podcast!
This is a "surprise 2" episode with Cara and Fen, where they go on a free-range chat about electric cars, the weather and shipping woes! Oh, but also boardgames - and we have a lot to say about those.
Say you want an expansion? Then Fen has got you covered - Mother of Dragons for A Game of Thrones boardgame (you know it's good because we don't talk very often about expansions).
After the expansion talk though, there's Cara with Senjutsu: Battle of Japan - a deeply strategic miniature card-based skirmish/duel game which also happens to be real eye candy.
And it feudal Japan is not your taste, what about Fen covering the modern classic, Sidereal Confluence?
And speaking of both, did anyone catch the reference in the title? 100 internet points to the winner!
Anyway, while you think at it - see you next time!
