The government shutdown is having the desired effect; fewer redundant federal employees and thus, a shrinking bureaucracy. Plus recipients of generational welfare are being forced to quit cold turkey and possibly even have to support themselves and their families for the first time since the passing of the civil rights act. We are seeing how little we need government in our lives and the only people upset are pointless gov employees and soon to be "former" EBT recipients.
