Wind blows...fire burns....THE LAST ACTION HEROES PODCAST kicks ass!!!

In our third episode of Season 2 we head into a 90s vision of the far future where everything is neon coloured and everyone is hot ‘n’ horny, as we join not one, but two heroes in their adventure to save the world: one a superpowered, genetically engineered bioweapon with fluorescent orange hair and a penchant for hand-to-hand combat, the other is Bruce Willis…in a vest…with a gun. Wait didn’t we do this film already?? Not quite like this…we’re talking the super stylish, euro sci-fi epic THE FIFTH ELEMENT (1997).

200 years in the future an ancient, cosmic evil has re-remerged after 5000 years of laying dormant. Its purpose: to extinguish all life in the Universe (or just earth…haven’t got that bit quite figured out yet). In response an alien race of guardians has created a weapon to destroy it; 4 stones, each imbued with the elemental powers of fire, earth, wind, and water, must be united around a fifth element, a supreme being representing love and life. After inconveniently being shot down, killed, and resurrected with DNA cloning technology, our hero LEELOO arrives on earth ready to save the day. Teaming up with lovelorn, ex-military weapons (very much) and transport (not so much) expert KORBEN DALLAS our heroes find themselves in a race against time to recover the 4 stones and save the earth/ universe/ (multiverse?) from total annihilation, all whilst learning the value of life and love along the way. There may even be time for some smooching too! With each of our heroes bringing their own unique (well, Leeloo anyway) style to the action hero role, how will LEELOO and John McClane…sorry…KORBEN!! stack up in the ultimate action hero showdown? Join episode host DAN and his 3 elemental podcasters LEON, JESPER & BJORN as they discuss whether the superpowered duo have what it takes. MULITPASS! BZZZZZZZZ!
