It’s time to dust off your fedora and follow in the footsteps of Shiva as THE LAST ACTION HEROES go forth to combat evil in INDIANA JONES & THE TEMPLE OF DOOM! The year before he started punching Nazis in the face, Henry Jones Jr (Harrison Ford) embarked on a wild and dangerous adventure from the glamorous criminal underworld of Shanghai, across the Himalayas and into the realms of terror in deepest, darkest India; all in the name of fortune and glory. Joined by his loveable, energetic side kick ShortRound (Ke Huy Quan) and the decibel breaking diva Willie Scott (Kate Capshaw), the trio find themselves falling prey to a revived, evil religious cult with a penchant for kidnapping, tearing out hearts and dropping people into a nice warm lava bath (It’s great for the skin apparently). Featuring more creepy crawlies than anyone is comfortable with, a whirlwind mine-cart chase, a thrilling river raft ride and a hearty bug banquet to give ‘I’m a celebrity’ a run for its money, we delve into the heart of darkness to uncover what made this movie so divisive, yet featured the best action set pieces ever committed to celluloid. So suit up and get ready for adventure with our episode host LEON as he deftly navigates BJORN, JESPER and DAN through the dangerous depths of Pankot Palace and hopefully, just hopefully, makes it out alive.
