
We sat down with our biological dentist, Dr. Wiley Green, for an eye-opening conversation about the deep connection between oral health and overall wellness.
Dr. Green graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1972 as a conventional dentist. But his journey into biological dentistry began when one of his patients, 15 years after receiving dental work, called him with a simple yet powerful question: “What’s under those bridges you put in my mouth?”
That phone call led Dr. Green on a quest for answers. He discovered the IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology) and attended one of their conferences, where he learned the truth about mercury/silver/amalgam fillings, and why they’re considered toxic.
By 1992, Dr. Green made the life-changing decision to stop using mercury fillings in his practice, and his path as a holistic/biological dentist began.
