India Defeat England by 66 Runs | India vs England 1st ODI Review |

India faced England today for the 1st ODI at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. Shikhar Dhawan scored 98 and missed out on 100 that he deserved. Virat Kohli played as well scoring 56 . India were in a spot of bother for posting a big total but Krunal Pandya and KL Rahul had 100 run partnership and India posted 317/5 in 50 overs.

England got to a phenomenal start and were 134/0 in 14 overs at one stage. Johnny Bairstow was unstoppable but Indian Bowlers lead by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Prasidh Krishna got India back into the game. They were also supported by Shardul Thakur who is becoming the main man to take wickets at Crucial Stages.
