Jon Hoffman is a research fellow in defense and foreign policy at the Cato Institute. His research interests include U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, Middle East geopolitics, and political Islam.
Hoffman’s work has been featured in a number of academic and policy-oriented platforms, including Foreign Policy, The Washington Post, The National Interest, Middle East Policy, and more. He also co-captains the NIAC New York Chapter mobilizing volunteer leaders, engaging policymakers, and advancing campaigns for peace and justice in the Middle East and U.S.
