2. be worthy of good treatment at the hands of.  Wherever we are in life, we’re deserving of all of the love, blessings, compassion, etc. that’s available. Going into this next year, I wanted to stand on what I believe I deserve; not by handout, but by the work and the overall feeling of wanting better for myself.
