My art sales are down. My Christmas sales last year weren’t as great as they were previously. I’m hearing the same thing from a lot of artists and makers and even giant retailers. There’s economic uncertainty and inflation that’s affecting spending. But do I think I should pack it in and stop my art business? NO, I do not. I still think 2023 is the best time to start, build, and grow your art business, and I don’t think it’s time to shrink back.
