Featuring the austere, Collège de Montaigu, the religious intolerance of the Sorbonne and the infamous affair of the Placards which led to anti-Catholic tracts tracts being outrageously posted across France and even to King Francis own bedchamber. This episode follows Calvin until the political and religious upheaval of the reformation leads to a 25 year old Calvin being forced to leave France as an exile in 1535.
