After dinner with my kids, I got to thinking about something I learned substitute teaching years ago: kids are way smarter than we give them credit for. Every age has a mind that's thinking, learning, analyzing—and we miss out when we dismiss young voices. This applies to the workplace too. From "Stop Work Authority" to servant leadership, I talk about why we need to listen up and down the hierarchy, why veterans shouldn't dismiss new workers, and why new workers shouldn't think they know everything.
