Shame, it’s a powerful emotion, and if given the steering wheel, can take us to all sorts of places and conclusions about ourselves.
Often in the arts we spend a great deal of time building skill sets thin layer upon thin layer, fundamental upon fundamental, each a story in itself.
What happens when some of those seemingly basic skills become less and less “basic?”
is it time to hang up the Gi, shrug our shoulders, and just walk away?
No, it’s bloody well not!
