So let’s jump right into it. I’m new to this, and what better way to get started than to …get started? A little about me: I am a writer by nature, more or less a poet, and all around a very curious person. I like to ask questions. I like to get to know people, and to learn what they might know. I say hello to strangers, connect with people, and generally just get all up in the business. So why do I actually hate social media so much? Here’s a little outline of where I’m going with this.. Have you ever found yourself in the midst of a heated, passionate argument with a complete stranger over something neither one of you are experts about? Have you ever been out with a friend or on a date and felt oddly jealous or insecure about how often they pick up their phone and hit the scroll? How many days in a row have you gone without some sort of social media….or could you even go days in a row?? All of these things and more are questions I’ve asked myself over and over…so let’s open this conversation up.
