Repatterning Energy through Sacred Geometry, Intention Paintings, The Parade of Hearts & More
I had the pleasure of speaking with artist Eugenia Ortiz on the latest episode of the podcast. We talked about energy, intention through drawings, paintings and murals, her background not only in art but Resonance Repatterning and how she utilizes these gifts, talents and training through her art. A process of transformation, each piece is programmed to the client, giving them an opportunity to shift and transform their lives when they connect in. We discussed her latest shows and also Kansas City's Parade of Hearts that premieres on April 13 at American Royal Governor's Expo. About Eugenia: An artistic visionary and multi-media artist, Eugenia Ortiz integrates her expertise in metalsmithing, sculpture, textiles, and painting reflecting her continuous exploration with multidimensional techniques, natural textures and materials. Ortiz creates layering of mixed media materials and paint to produce vibrant, immersive art that harmonizes the environment. Ortiz's approach to channeling the art begins with a foundation of setting an intention that guides the artwork and thus bring about a connection with others and their souls' purpose. Her artistic abilities and background in energy healing is a synergy of Divine creative expression as a pathway towards harmony, beauty, and peace. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Eugenia Ortiz has lived in Kansas since 1991 graduating from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor's in Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing (2001) and a Master's Degree in Design with an emphasis in Textiles (2011). Her commissioned work spans in various states and countries. Her art work has won multiple juried state, national, and international awards. Currently, Ortiz has a solo exhibition through ArtsKC NOW Showing at the Atlantic Aviation main airport entrance gallery space at 1001 Lou Holland Dr, KCMO and exhibiting in the Diversity Artist Series Group Show- Lexitas Gallery in the Crossroads at 1608 Locust Street KCMO. Both exhibits run through the end of June. This Spring her artwork can be seen on the cover of the new book, “Where the Light Gets In”, by Jill Tremlett Large, which explores the alchemy of true stories of turning pain into purpose and finding beauty in the most painful and broken places. Ortiz's art and harp music can be seen and heard in the new short film, “Love Song for a Mermaid”. More recently, Ortiz painted her third heart for the Parade of Hearts at Lenexa City Hall titled, “Let the Beauty We Love, Be What We Do”. The Kick-off event for the Parade of Hearts will be on April 13th at the American Royal Governor's Expo (1701 American Royal Drive, KCMO 64108) for one day before all 101 Hearts are released around the Kansas City Metropolitan Area through August. For more information and tickets, https://theparadeofhearts.com/hearts-reveal-kickoff-event/ Ortiz is taking on creative live painting collaborative projects with musicians, traveling painting large-scale intention murals, and immersive-art projects\commissions for home, business, and corporate spaces.
