Do you feel you belong

Belonging can be a tricky area for us as HSPs because we are wired differently. We quite literally receive greater blood flow to particular areas of our brain that enhance our emotional experience and how deeply we process the world around us.

Often, when we were younger, these experiences may have been misunderstood. We may also have found that the same topics of conversation did not interest us as much as our peers, friends, or family. We may find that we do not value the same areas of life that seem to be important conventionally.

This is often due to the fact that there is, in fact, an area of life that deeply matters to us. In this episode, we explore what this really means. It is often a part of ourselves we are not in ownership of because it feels different. Yet this area is a fundamental part of our identity as an HSP.
We explore ways to reveal this area and how we can begin to honour this part of ourselves — and, with the right people — begin to regain a true sense of belonging.
