#13 Sarah Neblett-Lindo
In this episode I’m speaking with Sarah Neblett-Lindo
I met Sarah 12 years ago when I joined a new company and Sarah was working in the HR MAC (Management Advisory Centre) and within my role I would have the pleasure of liaising with Sarah on any employee relations issues within my area of the business. We developed a great working relationship and re-connected a couple of years ago when Sarah wanted me to do some work at her company around Imposter Syndrome.
In this episode:
Sarah shares an experience when she applied for a role that she didn’t feel she was capable of doing as she had seen lots of men do that exact thing and what happened
Sarah talks about when she started to more through roles and progress in her career how race became more of an issue and how she has dealt with that
Sarah talks about the challenges when driving change in an organisation when you’re the one explaining it, setting it but you’re also a part of the agenda
Sarah shares how her experiences with previous managers and senior women as she progressed her career have helped to shape her into the leader she is now
Sarah shares why she has made Imposter Syndrome part of the agenda in the organisations she works in and why she believes this should be on the people agenda in all companies
I know I say this every time but I loved this conversation and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed talking with Sarah
