#12 Katherine Fitzpatrick
In this episode I’m speaking with Katherine Fitzpatrick
I met Katherine online a few years ago and it was lovely to connect with her as she is also local to where I live. Despite that we’ve only ever met up once a couple of years ago at a supper club event but I’m hoping to enjoy a dog walk with her soon!
Katherine is a mum of two and works as a senior manager in the Prison Service, which she joined in 2004. Towards the end of high school Katherine lost her focus on education and career direction but refocused and returned to education, gaining a degree in 2000. She enjoys the challenges that leadership brings and developing her team whilst focusing on her own personal development. Katherine took on the challenge of studying for a Master's degree earlier this year in Senior Leadership and is looking forward to furthering her career.
In this episode:
Katherine talks about experiences she had at school both negative and positive that shaped her confidence
Katherine shares how she had to take a step back in her career and now she sees that as a positive experience that has made her the manager she is today
Katherine talks about the importance of having a good support network around you when you’re going through challenges
Katherine talks about how talking about our experiences with Imposter Syndrome can help others to open up about their own experiences
Katherine shares the relationship she has developed with her Inner Imposter and how that has helped her to take control
I know I say this every time but I loved this conversation and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed talking with Katherine
