
Pst. Ibukun Awosika (born December 24, 1962, in Ibadan, Nigeria) is a renowned Nigerian entrepreneur, author, pastor, and leadership expert. She studied Chemistry at Obafemi Awolowo University and later attended executive programs at Lagos Business School, IESE Business School, and Wharton.
She began her career as an audit trainee at Akintola Williams & Co., then became a showroom manager at Alibert Nigeria Ltd. before founding her own furniture company, Quebees Limited, in 1989. This later evolved into The Chair Centre Group, one of Nigeria’s leading furniture and office solutions companies.
In 2015, Ibukun made history as the first female Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria. She also co-founded WIMBIZ (Women in Management, Business, and Public Service) and established the Afterschool Graduate Development Centre (AGDC) to tackle youth unemployment.
Beyond business, she is an ordained pastor, founder of the Christian Missionary Fund, and host of the TV show “Business His Way.” She has appeared in the Netflix movie Citation and leads the Ibukun Awosika Leadership Academy.
Her awards include the IWEC Award, Forbes Woman Africa Chairperson Award, and several honorary doctorates. She is married to Abiodun Awosika, and they have three children.
