Between Two Therapists - Part 3

Welcome to Part 3 of Between Two Therapists - a special series in this podcast where I interview psychotherapists - Frank Kewin and Peter Stathakos - about their decades of experience in the field of mental health and well being. In this episode, we cover a lot of ground yet again. The three of us talk about when seeking therapy might be beneficial for you, how to talk about therapy to friends and family, and how long it might take to see sustainable change. There are some pretty tactical pieces of advice and ideas that I think you’ll find interesting.

Please know that it’s always okay to ask for help. If you’re looking for help, there are resources available to you wherever you are. If you live in Canada or the United States, you may want to start with the list of resources below:

Canada - List of Resources for Mental Health and Wellness

Canada - Centre for Addiction and Mental Health

United States - National Institute of Mental Health

United States - MentalHealth.gov
