We are Sarah and Djamila, two international friends living in Copenhagen. In the Ikea Episodes, we are taking you on our monthly Ikea-date where we talk about life and its challenges while finding our way out of a maze of furniture. We hope that by sharing our thoughts and personal stories, we will make you reflect, relax and feel less alone in this crazy world <3
We would also love to start a proper conversation with you all, which is why we have created the Instagram @theikeaepisodes. We invite you to react there, share your feedback, your views on the subject and your ideas for future episodes! You can also email us or connect with us on Facebook.

No, this month's episode is NOT a Christmas special, although the theme is quite a festive one...
This time we met at IKEA to talk about: music! And more particularly traditional music, as suggested this month's lovely contributor, our dear friend Towhid. As Towhid said, traditional music is "a bridge between cultures. We don't need to get a visa to travel to their world. We need to close eyes and listen. It's enough." Beautiful, am I right?
So tune in to hear about the music that we grew up with and the one that is still the soundtrack to our life! And let us know in the comments if you are familiar with any traditional music :)
