In this episode, I discuss the unifying principle of biology and expound on its implications. I also talk about the origins of cells as that is integral to our understandings therefore I feel it should be presented in the first episode. 

There are parts of the podcast where I have gone beyond what we are required to know but I do so as those sections will be part of important lessons in future episodes. 

Some of you may have noticed that I did not talk about endosymbiosis you are right. that will be presented in the next episode where it will be better suited in combination with our discussion of the ultrastructure of the cell.
