In the third episode of THE HYBRID EXPERIMENT, we speak with Ryan Gibney about how Hyrox athletes can improve their strength.


Ryan Gibney is a world-class coach of athletes such as professional rugby players and fighters competing in the UFC. In the sport of Hyrox, he coaches Elite athlete Michael Sandbach, who has set some of the world's fastest ever times on strength-based stations such as the sleds through to explosive bodyweight-based stations such as the burpee broad jumps.

In this interview, Ryan tells us why strength and explosiveness is so important to even a running dominated sport like Hyrox and how to program for the best results on each station - including the sleds!
