“We really need to provide support to our health care providers, our pediatricians, and try to identify ways that we can help them effectively communicate with parents and patients, and motivational interviewing seems to be a really great avenue for that. And so, trying to figure out how do we most effectively train healthcare providers and using thebest motivational interviewing techniques to communicate with parents and patients is one avenue of this research that can keep moving forward.” Brittany L.
