Remembering the initial times you related to someone with addiction, remembering what feelings you resonated with, what behaviors you recognized as your own... remembering the times we first recognized that our feelings and behaviors were most likely symptoms of the disease of addiction reminds us of how far we have already come in our own lives and journeys. From an AA meeting back in her early 20s, her first experiences of getting clean and sober, something Angie heard that stuck with her throughout the entirety of her herOin addiction, was the feeling of "impending doom." She shares how this feeling impacted her life and how its changed over the years since working on herself.
