In this episode we have a great conversation with CHD Parent Susan May. She is an amazing CHD advocate and the author of several books. The book about her & her family's experience with her Heart Warrior Nick is entitled Nick's New Heart: 30 Years and Counting. You can buy it HERE! In our chat with Susan you will hear about her book, and also her incredible wisdom on how to live well in the midst of having a child with congenital heart disease and a heart transplant. Her son Nick is the 2nd longest living person with a pediatric heart transplant, and is now 33 with a college degree, full time job, wife & child! His story is an inspiration for any CHD Parent wondering what life will be like for their Heart Warrior in the future.
