Claire (@clairejean) is a UC Berkeley grad pre-med and future medical student. Claire details her pre-med journey: she discusses starting at UC Berkeley as a math major and discovering Biomedical Engineering. She discusses how she studied for the MCAT in detail, including what resources she used, how long she studied for, and what she wished she did differently. She scored in the 96th percentile on the MCAT. She also discusses how she secured letters of recommendation, giving a tip that you have probably not heard anywhere else. Lastly, she details the process of applying to medical school (how she built her school list) and how she prepared for her interviews. She has currently been accepted to medical school and will start in the summer of 2022.
