The Homeschool Curious Podcast - Ultimate Homeschool Podcast Network

Are you homeschool curious? Wondering if homeschooling could actually work for your family? You’re not alone—and you’re in the right place.

The Homeschool Curious Podcast, hosted by Morgan Bergstrom, is designed for parents who are exploring homeschooling for the first time, as well as families looking for encouragement, community, and practical ideas along the way.

Morgan is a wife, mom of four, and the founder of BasecampEd, a growing app that connects thousands of homeschool families across the country. She left her career as a corporate recruiter after feeling the exhaustion of juggling full-time work, endless daycare drop-offs, and the realities of raising little ones while moving every few years with her husband’s job in the State Department. The decision to homeschool didn’t happen overnight. It came with questions, doubts, and plenty of research—but also with hope, faith, and a desire for something different for her kids.

That’s why this podcast exists: to share the real, no-filter journey of stepping into homeschooling and to connect you with stories from others who are doing the same.

Each week on Homeschool Curious, you’ll hear:

Personal stories from parents who made the leap into homeschooling—what they feared, what worked, and what they wish they knew sooner.

Practical advice from educators and experts, breaking down how to start homeschooling without feeling overwhelmed.

Tips for balancing work and homeschooling, especially for moms who are building businesses, freelancing, or working part-time.

Community conversations about co-ops, local groups, online resources, and apps that make homeschooling less isolating and more doable.

Encouragement for skeptical spouses and grandparents, helping the whole family understand the value of homeschooling.

Insightful interviews with entrepreneurs and creators who are bringing fresh resources and opportunities to homeschool families.

Morgan’s approach is honest, hopeful, and conversational. She’s not here to give you a one-size-fits-all formula—because every family, every child, and every circumstance is different. Instead, she’s here to say: You can do this. You’re not crazy. And you don’t have to do it alone.

If you’ve ever thought:

“I don’t want my child to be the ‘new kid’ every few years when we move.”

“I’m tired of rushing through life just to make it to daycare pick-up.”

“I wish I had more time with my kids, but I don’t know where to start.”

“I’m curious about homeschooling, but I’m not sure my spouse or parents will be on board.”

…then this podcast is for you.

Homeschooling doesn’t have to mean doing school at home all by yourself. It can look like weekend nature studies, sharing teaching days with another mom, joining a local drop-off co-op, or connecting with families through BasecampEd to find resources right where you are. It’s flexible, adaptable, and full of opportunities to make learning come alive for your kids.

As you listen, you’ll discover how homeschooling can:

Strengthen family relationships by giving you more time together.

Create stability for kids who might otherwise be uprooted by moves or changing school environments.

Allow you to integrate faith, values, and real-world learning into your children’s education.

Empower you as a parent to guide your child’s education in a way that fits their personality, strengths, and needs.

Open doors to community connections and friendships that last a lifetime.

With stories that are inspiring, conversations that are practical, and a tone that feels like a coffee chat with a friend, The Homeschool Curious Podcast is here to help you explore what ...
