
This week in our final episode of season 1 we’ll be talking about hair loss and a naturopathic approach to supporting hair growth. Our hair follicles undergo a repeated cycle consisting of three phases - anagen (growth), catagen (shed), and telogen (shed). It’s normal to lose up to 100 hairs every day, but if more than 200 hairs are falling out every day or you notice large clumps of hair falling out then this would be considered excessive. There are several types of hair loss than one can experience, with androgenic alopecia being the most common.
