Mifepristone and Misoprostol are the two medications used for self-managed, also known as medical abortion.  Nancy Cárdenas Peña, Campaign Director of Abortion On Our Own Terms, joins in a discussion on self-managed abortion, how effective it is, and the myths and disinformation that the anti-abortion side perpetuates.  We set the record straight here and provide hope and resources that can help those in need.  

Nancy also highlights the additional barriers that those from restrictive states must overcome to get healthcare in areas like the Rio Grande Valley along the border of Texas.  But abortion pills are an excellent option, and are still currently available in the United States..  for now...  The Supreme Court will weigh in on the case to remove one of the pills from the market later this year.
