What an incredible episode, what an incredible person to have bless The HipHopHumboldt Podcast with his time! I'm talking none other than Verge. This episode is a very thorough look at an important local emcee. Verge grew up in the Santa Ana are of Southern California and had a very profound set of stories to tell the audience in this episode. He truly made himself vulnerable for the pod, and I appreciate Verge for doing that and being that! A very genuine person with an immense amount of experience, knowledge and perspectives that many may not have been exposed to prior. An absolutely beautiful and prolific look at a man with talent on another level. We talked about his life before Humboldt, when he came to Humboldt, and how he got into the local music scene and developed his craft. We talked about the beauty of the local hip hop scene, how he left for a short time, and the draw of Humboldt that brought him back. This was a great episode and again I need to thank Verge for his time and what he brings to the local tapestry of artists in Humboldt County!
