Here is how Davidisms got started.  For as long as I can remember, usually shortly after I have given a speech, moderated a panel or just given people advice on what they should do with their career, someone yells out " you should write a book".  Instead of writing a book I decided to make a podcast. It’s more interactive and sounds like it would be more fun. What to expect. Are you wondering how to manage and get ahead in your career? Are you working hard but keep getting passed over for that promotion and not moving up? Are you able to do your job with your eyes closed? Are you still waiting for feedback from your boss? Have you been told - keep doing what you are doing? Do you ever wonder what the secret is of successful people? If you have these and other career questions, you should check out this podcast. It's practical advice I am sharing based upon years of what I have observed, experienced and witnessed which have come to be known as Davidisms. So here is the thing, all of the podcasts are my personal views on managing ones career based upon what I have learned, what I have observed, what I have heard others say or things I have experienced in my own career. I tried my best to recall the many scenarios for the advice I gave and other Davidisms that have stood the test of time. This podcast is a collection of ideas, thoughts and actions you can take when faced with similar situations. There will also be an episode for Ladies only and one for let’s just say more seasoned professionals – I call them gray guardians, and I will even put in a few pointers for those summer interns with their brand new suits (many who have forgotten to take the tag off the sleeve or that little X on the back of the skirt or jacket). There will be episodes on conversations I have had with people – it will be called What my mind was thinking versus What my voice was saying.
