This was a great conversation with Sarah Sterling, a parenting coach and mom of two. We discussed the concept of "matrescence," which is the identity shift of becoming a mom. This can be a challenging time for many women, as they are essentially becoming a new person. We talked about the importance of self-care and how to balance motherhood with other aspects of life.
I share a personal story about getting my tubes removed. It was a difficult decision, but I think it was the right one for me.
We also talked about the importance of letting go of control and how to deal with burnout.
If you are feeling overwhelmed by motherhood, please know that you are not alone. There are resources available to help you.
I hope you enjoy this episode!
