Carl is an author of multiple peer-reviewed publications, with a most recent one published in June 2021, concerning airflow within the operating room. Carl is a national and international speaker with recent presentations in Brazil and in Massachusetts for the State Perfusion Society. Carl is experienced in ventricular assist devices, hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy, blood management, adult cardiac procedures including transplantation procedures, ECMO procedures, and the use of all perfusion equipment. Carl is a cofounder of EC-Mobile, whose mission is to standardize the assessment and communication of critically ill patients from remote centers to advanced care hospitals.
