Dr. Gupta attended medical school at BJ Medical College at the University of Poona, India. He completed his residency training at Mount Sinai in the Bronx, New York, and went on to the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota, University of Missouri Kansas City, and Dr. Gupta’s final training was done at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville Florida, for heart failure and transplant medicine.
Dr. Gupta was chosen as the resident of the year during his residency at Mount Sinai. He established and founded the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Fellowship program in the state of Kansas, at Kansas University where he also served as Program Director.
Dr. Gupta is married to Shilpa Singh, and his greatest gift is his almost 5-year-old incredible son named, Rohan.
