In this episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with Jenny, a personal trainer and nutritionist who shared her journey from being a student in engineering to becoming a successful fitness influencer. She emphasized the importance of consistency in both fitness and nutrition, explaining how she started her career by posting workouts on Instagram and quickly gained clients through social media. Jenny highlighted that many people struggle with their health due to unrealistic expectations, often thinking they can achieve results in just 30 days, when in reality, it can take several months or even years to see significant changes.
Jenny also discussed her shift from tracking macros to focusing on the quality of food she consumes. She realized that many processed foods, even those labeled as "healthy," were causing her inflammation and bloating. By switching to whole foods and following a five-ingredient rule, she not only felt better but also maintained her weight without the need for strict tracking, showing that making small, mindful changes can lead to better health outcomes.
