Pregnancy, Suicide Loss, and Finding Hope: Rachel’s Story
Rachel recounts losing her husband to suicide while five months pregnant, the immediate shock, and the practical and emotional support that helped her survive. She shares how she navigated pregnancy, birth, anger, and dissociation, and the ways journaling, long walks, friends and family helped her heal.
Six years on she is remarried, raising her son Jonny, and has launched Love Loss Disco Balls - a colourful greetings-card business aimed at honest sympathy and support. Rachel offers compassionate advice on talking to children about loss, breaking harmful thought loops, and holding on to hope while rebuilding life.
