Episode 017 - Josh Deegan - Part I
So, here it is... The host finally becomes the guest! In Episode 17, Guest host Jordan Pye has a chat with the Podcast's very own Josh Deegan. Josh has had a very eclectic life full of challenges which he will detail in both parts of this double header (It was a LONG chat!) From being born with sight loss, to being told by a doctor whilst a teenager that if he didn't change his lifestyle, his knees would buckle and he could end up dead by age 30. This is an episode that has been requested by numerous people, asking Josh when he would eventually tell his own story after spending so long hosting other people's. Now is the time, and as he says numerous times in both episodes, he hopes his story will help others who are or have gone through some of the obstacles and challenges he has gone through in life. If you'd like to be part of Happy Somedays in any way or if you'd like to know more about the sort of sessions we hold - including Men's and Women's football sessions, fitness classes, running, hiking or you just want to make new connections and lasting friendships, let us know and get in touch!
